Perfect timing for the Winter Holidays...is a lovely example of the Victorians attention to fine detail. A delicately carved Woodland Scene of a 'Two Deer in the Woods' is mounted on an antique Mother-of-Pearl Buckle and hangs from vintage Brass link chain with carved pikake bead accents. The necklace has a back lobster clasp closure and 3" extension. Striking! (Originally created as a brooch dated to the Victorian Era c.1910, most likely German origin, the Woodland scene features intricate openwork work and high relief.
